ALT Light: minimal impact lighting design

Created in 2025 by French designer Alexandre Touguet , the ALT Light brand embodies a new generation of lighting: ethical, elegant and resolutely contemporary. After more than 5 years spent alongside iconic design figures such as Philippe Starck, Christophe Pillet, Ora-ïto and Fritsch-Durisotti , Alexandre launched ALT Light with a clear ambition: to design a range of timeless, beautiful, useful and durable lighting.

💡 A sculptural and responsible design

Each ALT Light luminaire is designed as a functional sculpture , with soft, balanced lines, which transcends trends without ever going out of style. The brand's clean, minimalist style draws its inspiration from the rationalist school, but with an organic touch specific to the work of Alexandre Lavigne.

But what makes these creations even more unique is their low environmental impact :

• ✅ Lampshade made of PLA (corn starch) , a bio-sourced material, biodegradable under industrial conditions

• ✅ Made to order to avoid overproduction

• ✅ Possibility to repair each part yourself : a repair guide and all spare parts are provided

• ✅ Local production in the south of France

Rare attention is paid to the durability of the object over time , both mechanically and emotionally.

🌿 A technical but accessible range

The collections are available in the following versions:

• Translucent (milky white PLA)

• Transparent (PETG or transparent PLA)

• Or in Color editions, tinted throughout

Only the uncolored versions allow for a subtly diffused or visible light effect through the lampshade.

In terms of use, the ALT Light models work equally well as bedside lamps or as ambient lighting in a dining room or living room. Their versatility makes them an ideal solution for design lovers as well as for more classic interiors.

⏳ Locally made, made to order

All lighting fixtures are 3D printed to order , with a standard lead time of 2 weeks , which can be extended to 3 weeks during busy periods (holidays, etc.). Each piece is hand-assembled, tested, and delivered with:

This controlled production logic limits waste, strengthens ecological commitment and guarantees optimal quality for each piece.
