Sophie, the founder, was captivated by the retro charm of these boxes and wanted to reintroduce them into our contemporary homes. In collaboration with the Dejoie foundry in Nantes, each box is the result of artisanal know-how passed down for decades.

Each model, whether it's the Petit Modèle 1945 or the Grand Modèle 1950, is designed and manufactured in France. The Dejoie foundry, a partner of La Boîte Jaune, continues a tradition where 80% of the manufacturing process is carried out by hand. This attention to detail guarantees exceptional quality and durability.
