The Milanese House presents: L'ATELIER BERANGERE CERAMIQUE
Today, we present to you Bérangère Noyau, a ceramic artisan by love and passion, who offers us unique porcelain creations that combine strength, finesse and purity.
A passion to share
Elegant and simple pieces that are designed to be as beautiful as they are useful on a daily basis.
"Guided by the idea and pleasure of beauty in everyday life, I strive to create porcelain pieces for everyday life." Bérangère.
Love of nature
By combining wood with her creations, Bérangère pays yet another tribute to the nature she cherishes so much.
"Elegant and simple, my porcelain pieces blend wonderfully with wood, which is a recent addition to my work, a tribute to the forest that surrounds us and which is unfortunately mistreated." Bérangère.
The branches are collected in the Fontainebleau forest (near Samois where Bérangère is based) for their shapes. They are thoroughly cleaned with a wire brush, treated with epoxy varnish to stabilize them and protect them from water. They are then pierced and securely attached to the porcelain with a metal rod; the string is there for aesthetics. The combination of porcelain and wood allows you to bring nature into your home and into your daily life.
An amazing technique
What makes her work even more unique is her working technique. She turns the porcelain and works it in a single firing, which is very rare.
This is a very technical job because the enamel is applied to the unfired pieces. These pieces are then placed in the kiln in one pass at 1280 degrees.
This technique allows incredible savings in energy and time!
