It was in a spirit of authenticity and quality that in 1998, Philippe Granet and Denis Paternotte revived the history of Pyrenean wool, relaunching with the creation of Midipy the activity of one of the largest spinning mills in the region. Midipy then offered natural throws, woven from high-quality, dye-free wool. Not far from the Pyrenees, and still with the common thread of finesse and naturalness, Philippe and Denis decided to develop a range of leather goods handmade in France, with carefully designed leather items for interior decoration.

In 2024, after a long family trip around the Southern Hemisphere during which they came into contact with ancestral artisanal practices in Laos and Bolivia, Eloïse Paternotte and Daniel Dumont, the nephews of the founders of Midipy, took up the torch and continued the approach initiated by the latter, working for sustainable natural elegance and French know-how.
